There are, to be sure, a variety of ways to go about meeting a foreign woman. You could visit the country you're most interested in and look for women in person. If you send out 100 letters on a given day, I can guarantee that you'll begin to get replies within two to three weeks (unless all your letters go to a country where mail service is terrible, like Russia). Probably the most effective technique is to combine both methods. Answer the personal listings of women who interest you and, in addition, place your own personal listing so that it appears in the country or countries of interest. Many of the same services that supply women's names and addresses can also help you place your own personal ad or listing. In addition, some publications that handle people seeking people & types of personal advertising have affiliations with similar publications in foreign countries.

You'll need to compose your own ad carefully. Keep it short and to the point, but ask for what you want.

To answer women's personal listing ads, you're going to need the services of at least one of the many companies that broker the names and addresses of foreign women who are seeking American husbands. I strongly recommend that you contact several such services and see what each has to offer.

One way to find foreign bride services is by looking in the classified ad sections of major newspapers. Generally, you can find these under introduction services, personals or personal services. I strongly recommend that you contact several and see what each has to offer. Some services are broadly based, and do not specialize in women from any particular part of the world. Others are very specialized and focus on women from only one or two specific countries.

The catalogs published by these companies contain a photo and brief description of each lady. Each carries a code number. The addresses, which are referenced to the code numbers, appear on a separate sheet. The quality of the photos will vary from excellent to terrible.
