From the dictionary here's the definition of persistence: 1. to go on resolutely or stubbornly in spite of opposition, importunity, or warning. 2. To remain unchanged or fixed in a specified character, conditions, or position. 3. to be insistent in the repetition or pressing of an utterance (as a question or an opinion). 4. to continue to exist esp. past a usual, expected, or normal time.

Take an Inventory of Yourself
Before you'll be meeting new single women for love and romance, take an inventory of the things that are important to you, and that you'd like to talk about. What are you excited about now? What changes are taking place in your life? What have been the most important events or people in your life? What future plans are you most enthusiastic about? Why do you feel the way you do about things? What are your concerns? What is your vision for the future? What are your likes and preferences?
The answers to these questions tell her how you relate to the world around you. Be specific, so that your conversational partner gets a lot of free information to pick up on. Communicate your enthusiasm. Disclose some of your feelings and values.
Some Fall-Backs for Shy Men
If you're shy and have trouble talking to single women, it helps to be prepared with things to talk about. Besides the things that are most important to you, here are sources for conversational fuel:
1. Come up with 3 or 4 interesting or exciting things that have happened to you recently. Practice telling these stories on family or friends, or practice in front of a mirror or with a tape recorder.
2. Read current newspapers and magazines, and be prepared to talk about events that interest you.
3. Collect a couple of sure-fire, inoffensive jokes.
4. Become knowledgeable about what's going on in your city. People always want to know more about what's happening locally. See current movies and read current books. You're bound to find single women who have seen the same movies or read the same books.

This week I will focus on a few tips to help you become more successful with single women:
In these days and times it's becoming harder and harder being a smoker. It's almost come to the point that you are a social outcast if you smoke. If you are a smoker, you might consider quitting smoking to help you attract more single women and I'll tell you why. There are many single women who will not be interested in you because you smoke. Yes, it's a sad fact of life that there are women who will not date men who smoke.
This is what I call the "Wolf Pack" method of meeting and succeeding with single women. This method works great at nightclubs, bars, beaches, etc. Here's how it works: You're going to be teaming up with a buddy to approach single women who are by themselves. Why does this give you an advantage? Because she's less likely to reject two men together than one guy approaching her alone. Then it's up to you and your friend which one is going to put the moves on her. Another factor in your favor is that women alone feel more comfortable approaching two men together than a guy alone, especially to ask for a dance.
Are you recently divorced or separated? If you are, keep it to
yourself initially when first meeting single women. Why? A lot of
women are leery of recently divorced or separated men. There's a
stigma attached to this in thinking you're emotionally unstable or
still has ties with your ex. So, when first getting to know her,
don't volunteer any information about your status. If asked, be
honest and don't lie. If you get caught in a lie, this really makes
you look like a fool and makes a bad impression to say the least.
